BOB BROOKS (HOST): Well, that's not very nice. Modern late night TV isn't comparable to the days of Johnny Carson, as you just saw right there. What used to be high quality entertainment before bed has turned into nothing more than a bunch of liberals bashing Republicans. That's all it is. To the point, late night is now a full-blown propaganda arm for the Democrat Party. Head of the pack, you just saw him, CBS' Stephen Colbert, whose show is set to end soon because he's not funny enough to make any money and is currently lashing out at his new bosses on his way out the door.

Here's what happened. He's claiming his bosses at CBS refused to let him air his recent interview with Texas Democrat Senate candidate James Talarico because of censorship demands from the Trump FCC. In reality, the network simply informed Colbert if he had let Talarico on, he would have to give Talarico's opponents equal time on the show because of the FCC's equal time rule, which was enacted by Congress nearly 100 years ago. Now, FCC Chairman Brendan Carr says this is why the American people have more trust in gas station sushi than they do in Colbert.

...

And he's right. And because of this little stunt pulled by Colbert, James Talarico has since raised, get this, north of $2.5 million for his campaign. So maybe someone should investigate Colbert for election interference. And I'm sure Talarico's Democrat primary opponent Jasmine Crockett, she's not happy about this. In fact, Colbert putting his thumb on the scale like this for a white man over a black woman kind of seems pretty racist. I don't know, that's just what it seems like.
