SEAN HANNITY (HOST): All of this in keeping, Senator, with the Trump doctrine. No forever wars, no boots on the ground, although they have to leave that option open just in case, but more importantly, surgical strikes to avoid threats before they become untenable. And the president had been very clear, for those people that don't understand the purpose of this, the president has said over and over again Iran cannot and will not ever get a nuclear weapon. However, on the other side of it, it's going to be up to the people of Iran to determine their destiny. Correct?

TOM COTTON (GUEST): Yeah, that's right, Sean. The president's been very clear. You and I have said it for as long as he's said it. We can't allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon. We also can't allow them to have thousands of missiles to attack us or to defend themselves as they build a nuclear weapon.
