GRIFF JENKINS (HOST): I want to move you back to that summit because we’re still seeing these pictures as Americans are waking up across the country. Is it your sense -- and the Putin thing that he was talking about, the press here taking the president out of context -- what is your assessment of the press' entire take away from this trip? Has the press literally undermined the president's trip and the strides he's made on this trip?
COREY LEWANDOWSKI: You know it's not just this trip, but if you look at the multiple trips that the president has done overseas, he has now been received glowingly by world leaders and it is a new relationship between the United States and these world leaders. The press doesn't want to give him the credit for that. This is the longest trip since George H. W. Bush was in office by a sitting president of the United States, the relationships that he is building, the trade deals that he is making, he is putting America first, we see, whether it's China, Vietnam, or others. American industries are going to have the opportunity to participate in those economies as opposed to them just taking advantage of ours. He should be getting amazing amounts of credit from the mainstream media but that doesn't fit their narrative. The narrative is going to be one sole focused: Donald Trump, president of the United States, met with Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, so there has to be a relationship there that’s detrimental. What the president has said is, let's have a relationship with these people that allows us to kill ISIS in Syria and other places.
