Meagan Hatcher-Mays is a researcher for Courts Matter. Before joining the Media Matters team, she clerked in public defender offices in the trial and appellate divisions. Meagan is a licensed attorney in New York state and holds a J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.

Thomas Bishop is an associate research director at Media Matters, where he has worked since July 2012. He has both a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Arkansas.

Carlos Maza is a Research Fellow and has been at Media Matters since 2011, having previously led the organization's LGBT program. He graduated from Wake Forest University in 2010 with a degree in political science.

Kate Sarna is a researcher at Media Matters. She previously worked in the press shop of the South Carolina Democratic Party and is a proud alum of UC Berkeley, where she earned a B.A. in Media Studies.

Tyler Cherry is a campaigns associate at Media Matters, where he has worked since September 2015. Before joining, he was an education and juvenile policy researcher at BOTEC Analysis. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Nick Fernandez is a researcher at Media Matters, where he has worked since July 2015. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Northeastern University, where he minored in history.

Zeke Stokes is director of outreach for Media Matters.

Connor Land joined Media Matters as a researcher in July 2013. Prior to joining Media Matters, he was an English and New Media student at the University of Georgia and Oxford University.

Coleman Lowndes is assistant producer of multimedia at Media Matters. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in recording arts and history from Indiana University.

Samantha Wyatt joined Media Matters in March 2013 as a Researcher after working in immigration policy for a small DC-based think tank. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011 with a degree in Philosophy, Politics, & Economics.

Laura Houston Santhanam is a senior researcher at Media Matters. She joined Media Matters in March 2013 after researching the media industry and news coverage trends at Pew Research Center. Prior to that, she worked as a newspaper reporter in Arizona, Tennessee and Mississippi.

Ari Rabin-Havt hosts The Agenda, a national morning radio program airing on SiriusXM 127. He is also a senior fellow at Media Matters and was on the faculty of the George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management.

Rebecca Lenn is the director of external affairs at Media Matters, where she has worked since September 2010. She was previously a political fellow at The Eleison Group. She has a bachelor’s degree from Mount Holyoke College and a master’s degree in religion from Yale University.

Lis Power is the director of media intelligence at Media Matters, where she has worked since July 2014. Previously, she worked for Teach For America in Miami, FL. She graduated magna cum laude from Franklin & Marshall College with a bachelor’s degree in government.
