BILL SPADEA (GUEST HOST): I do wonder what the Easter Bunny was thinking just at that moment, but it takes me back to the Easter egg roll when Joe Biden was president. Remember this, a Biden staffer in the bunny costume had to pull the president away from the media because they didn't want them to see how incompetent he was, as if they didn't know that already.

The difference between us and them have never been more clear. We care about every American life. The question is, do the leaders in the Democratic Party? I'm going to let you answer that on your own. The incompetence of the Biden years, compared to what we are seeing today, should also be very clear, because we are the best fighting force in the world.

President Trump is putting the safety of Americans first by going after a regime that wanted Americans killed. Now he's got to close the deal and make sure we free the Strait of Hormuz, keep Americans from having and entering and being in another endless war, and communicate clear objectives about the conflict. Saying that we have obliterated them — no air force left, no navy left, yet we have no guarantees that ships can pass safely through the strait. No guarantee that the Revolutionary Guard will stop murdering civilians. No guarantee that Iran will stop sponsoring terrorists to kill Americans.

And as of yet, no tangible end is in sight. It's a mixed message at best, and it's giving people a reason to doubt. It's giving them a reason to question. And, no question about this, in a political sense, it is putting the Republican majority in jeopardy this November.

It's leading to a lack of trust also, and this is very dangerous in one of our strongest allies, Israel. I don't know if you saw this, nearly 60% of young Republicans, that's Republicans under the age of 50 saying they now have a negative view of the Jewish state. This is a dangerous trend for the GOP and certainly for our nation as we continue to deal with the jihadist threat abroad and at home. We're going to cover some of that later in the show tonight.

There is certainly enough time for President Trump to right the communication ship, but the president has to avoid sending out his press chief to present another conflicting and confusing message — maybe a few less social media posts as well on what we're going to do and just do it.
