MARTHA MACCALLUM (HOST): It's interesting. You know Katrina there is a historic nature to the selection of her. Her parents were from India and from Jamaica. But when these markers are laid down, when he says "oh, I'm going to pick a woman," and then he gets this pressure, "oh, I'm going to pick a Black woman." It sort of checks those identity boxes and I think, in a way, as a woman, it takes away from some of the selection in some ways.
