LAURA INGRAHAM (HOST): But what -- what of this and the globalist great fantasy that globalization was going to bring -- make the world more free? How has that actually worked out for us?
DOUGLAS MACGREGOR (GUEST): Well, we tried to turn Ukraine into a giant torpedo aimed at Russia by making it the sort of advanced platform for George Soros -- who, I'm increasingly convinced, is probably the shadow National Security Adviser for President Biden -- and bring in, not just weapons, but infinite numbers of subversives, all of whom were determined to destroy Russia.
Remember, they hate Russia, which is not communist, it's not a Soviet state, because Russia is a Russian Orthodox Christian country that is based on Russian national identity. Well that's unacceptable to the globalists. They're trying to destroy national identity everywhere.
So, how could you possibly pass up the opportunity to exploit Ukraine for that very purpose? And the ironic part of this is that you now have radical West Ukrainian nationalists, whom I know very well, who are willing to fight to the death in Eastern Ukraine to kill Russians for reasons that go back to the 30s and the 40s, the Second World War, and Stalin. And these people are simply being used as cannon fodder for the United States and Soros.
