GREG KELLY (HOST): You know, I think we kind of just won the war. There's a real possibility of — did you see it? They gave us pretty much everything we want. The Straits of Hormuz, if you listen to these Iranian guys, they said what we wanted to hear and if they actually live up to it — and that's a big if, right? Because you can't trust these people. It could all blow up all over again. A couple of things. They have no more nuclear. We ruined their missile capability. I don't think they're going to be writing checks to Hezbollah any time soon. And yes, they're still lobbying things here and there. But no, I think we got this. This is the foreign minister and he's still alive, I think because we want him alive. We know exactly where he is and he's still there. This is the same guy who was negotiating with Jared Kushner and Mr. Witkoff. This is a man we might be able to do business with. And he said something very, very critical. Take a look.

...

KELLY: All right. So that's interesting. He actually also mentioned specifically Israel and America. Israel and America can't use it. Everybody else can. I find that very, very interesting. Israel and America can't. But Israel and America are not, they're not using it anyway. That's a little secret. We don't have any ships going in and out of the Persian Gulf. And those we do have, they aren't under our flag. Malaysia, Barbados, Panama. We do not have ships under the American flag. And as for Israel, they get their stuff from the Mediterranean, from Azerbaijan. This is kind of a big deal. The full quote, if we can put it up on the screen, reads as follows. One more time. If you listen to the whole interview, the Strait of Hormuz remains open to all countries except our enemies, the United States and Israel. How about that? Oh, by the way, that would still be illegal. It's not really up to them. They can't determine who uses the Strait of Hormuz. Even that statement is illegal because if you look at the strait, right? It's not technically international waters. Every country here has a piece of the Strait of Hormuz, including, yes, the Iranians, but so does the UAE, the Omanians — if they call it the Omanian — and the rest. So it's very, very positive. Strait of Hormuz is open to everybody except America and Israel. We are totally down with that. OK?

Now the gas prices, they're taking a hit. I know it, everybody sees it and they won't stop talking about it.

...

KELLY: And the people at the MSNBC, they really care about people being out of work, especially truck drivers, right? They really — no, they don't. They don't. They're just trying to blow it up. You know, I can handle the gas prices. People can handle the gas prices. We're hardly ever called on to sacrifice anything anymore. I'm not talking about COVID and we're never going to let that happen again. But this had to be done. The benefits so outweigh bigger gas prices. It's how President Trump put it today at length from the Oval Office.
