CARL HIGBIE (HOST): Yeah, look, I'm going to be honest — the markets are not liking this Iran stuff, mostly because they don't like any uncertainty. The problem is the world is uncertain. So naturally they will freak out over anything like this. But uncertainty in war is your greatest strength. So it's kind of a double-edged sword. Look, I think Trump is balancing them pretty well right now to be honest. But so while the market flexes about not knowing what Trump will do next, the enemy is also wondering what Trump's going to do next. They have no idea. But they do know he follows through with stuff.

This is why I have pleaded with you. Just give a pass a little longer. I know it stinks, but please bear with the $10 to $20 more for a tank of gas for another week or two. At this — just another week or two. That's all. Because if we stop now, it's all for nothing. Our soldiers died for nothing. We spent $20 billion for nothing. And all this market turmoil will be for nothing, because Iran's just going to go right back to what it was doing before, because we didn't finish the job. And don't let the media hype you out. Four weeks of like, the most successful bombing campaign in the history of ever, a $90 a barrel oil — it's a blip on the radar.

...

So if we can hold our support together for like another week or two, and this has got to happen — Trump has — the pressure is on. He's got to pull out a peace deal or the midterms are probably toast. But he does that, gas will drop by a dollar. The number one state-sponsor of terror will have been wiped off the face of the Earth. There will be no more threats to shipping in the region, as there have been for 40 years. There will total peace in the Middle East. And the midterms will be a foregone conclusion for Republicans. That's the stakes here.
