Fox host Lawrence Jones: “If we ever even got into a conflict with Iran, it would be over within two days, if that”

LAWRENCE JONES (CO-HOST): He has been clear for years, and I don't have any problem with people disagreeing with the president's position. But don't try to pretend like he hasn't had this position for years now. He has said they can't enrich, they can't have a nuclear weapon, he said it multiple, multiple times. And I think, you know, you can't box the president in. You can't tell him what is MAGA and what's not MAGA. I think the first duty of the president of the United States is to keep us safe. And he has made it very clear he doesn't want to put boots on the ground. Honestly, if we ever even got into a conflict with Iran, it would be over within two days, if that. So, I know some people on the right are trying to say box the president in, but I think he is getting annoyed by that as well, Brian.
BRIAN KILMEADE (CO-HOST): Yeah, it is annoying, because you have to put two feet in reality. There is a theory, no Middle East wars, and then there is an enemy we've had since 1979. They killed our people directly. If you wanna say, well Iraq was bad, well Iraq went bad primarily because Iran got involved through militias, through financing, to actually killing our guys. At one point kidnapping about 20 of them and killing them. So, they have had blood on their hands since 1979, they've never paid the price for 52 hostages and still the president says, 'I'm not aggressive, I'm going to provide defensive support for Israel.' So, let's just wait and see.
