As the Republican Party draws scrutiny for its embrace of antisemites, GOP leaders have done nothing about Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ). Since 2021, Gosar has endorsed and promoted antisemitic media outlets and figures more than 30 times.

Gosar, who is reportedly considered “untouchable inside the House Republican conference,” has not received any discipline from House Republican leadership. To the contrary, Republicans are set to restore the committee assignments that were taken from him by House Democrats and Republicans Liz Cheney (WY) and Adam Kinzinger (IL)  after he promoted an animated video of him murdering Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and attacking President Joe Biden.

Three of Gosar’s favorite antisemitic media sources are Nick Fuentes, Andrew Torba’s platform Gab, and Vincent James Foxx’s outlet Daily Veracity.

Fuentes is a Holocaust denier who frequently makes antisemitic remarks, including claiming that Jewish people have too much power and they should “get the fuck out of America.” He and Ye, who was formerly known as Kanye West, recently had dinner with former President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate. Trump reportedly “‘seemed very taken’ with Fuentes.”

Gab is a haven for white nationalist, neo-Nazi, and antisemitic users, including people who have threatened and committed violent acts. Gab’s CEO is virulent antisemite Andrew Torba, who uses his site to repost attacks on Jewish people. Torba has said that he wants to exclude Jewish people from American political life, stating: “We don't want people who are Jewish. … This is an explicitly Christian movement because this is an explicitly Christian country.”

Daily Veracity is a fringe white nationalist site that portrays Black people as violent criminals and warns readers that they “are being replaced” because “minorities are pouring into the country and having children.” It is run by Vincent James Foxx, a Holocaust denier who has frequently attacked Jewish people. Foxx has complained that “the Holocaust is weaponized” against white people; attacked Jewish people because they supposedly “not only control Hollywood, congress, and the media, but they control social media as well”; and claimed that the impeachment of Trump was “The Jew Coup.”

Gosar’s promotion of antisemitism is similar to that of fellow Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA), who is also set to get committee assignments back next year.

Here are 33 examples of Gosar promoting antisemitic media figures and outlets. Many examples from this list are via The Informant’s Nick R. Martin, who has extensively covered Gosar’s promotion of extremists.

On May 12, 2021, Gosar wrote to the FBI asking for more information about the No Fly List. He tweeted of his letter: “Today young America First supporters like @NickJFuentes and tomorrow anyone else the regime dislikes. Secret tribunals and no ability to challenge in court is immoral.”

On December 6, 2021, Gosar responded to a tweet by writer Jack Hadfield wondering, “Why has Twitter taken down so many people on the populist nationalist right today?” Gosar wrote: “Go to Gab.” Hadfield has moderated a Facebook group that that includes “jokes about the Holocaust” and “antisemitic conspiracy theories.”

In January, as the Twitter account AZ Right Wing Watch wrote, Gosar shared a tweet from the account “Based Andy Biggs Fan.” The account features antisemitic content.

Gab is the future of social media - it's an honor to have your support.” The user that Gosar quoted is an antisemitic fan of Nick Fuentes

On January 24, Gosar wrote on Gab: “The phony January 6th Committee's partisan witch-hunt continues as they have now set their sights on young conservative Christians like Nick Fuentes. This is pure political persecution and it has to stop. @realnickjfuentes.” Fuentes responded by thanking him.

On February 25, Gosar spoke at Nick Fuentes’ America First Political Action Conference through a pre-recorded message.

On March 16, Gosar wrote on Gab: “It's amazing what Andrew Torba and his team have done with Gab. I joined this truly free speech platform last November and since then I've watched as the performance, quality, and features have increased astronomically. There's even a Gab marketplace now where users can buy/sell goods and services. Andrew is a pioneer, leading millions away from the information stranglehold of Big Tech. I'm excited to see the Parallel Economy develop further. Gab on!”

On April 3, as AZ Right Wing Watch spotted and Martin wrote, “Gosar retweeted a post from an account calling itself ‘Based Paul Gosar Fan.’ The account praises Hitler, posts swastikas and uses the phrase “Accelerate hate!” in its bio. Gosar also follows the account.”

On May 16, Media Matters reported that Gosar has run advertising on Gab.

On June 22, Gosar wrote on Gab: “Andrew Torba & I have a great relationship and I'm thoroughly satisfied with my decision to join. On August 8, Gosar wrote on Gab: “They've been going after Andrew Torba for months now - some would say years - because the platform that he is building threatens the Liberal World Order and their control over what we're allowed to say and see online.”

On September 30, Gosar promoted a film featuring Nick Fuentes, writing: “The persecution against Christians and Conservatives by the Biden Regime brings great dishonor to our country. If Americans do not have the freedom to dissent, then they have no freedom at all.” He later deleted the tweet.

On November 28, Gosar wrote on Gab: “Gab is like Facebook but with free speech, anonymity, and a parallel economy of businesses who share our American values. The company is owned and run by Christian Americans, and the terms of service is the First Amendment. I'm glad to be here.”
