LAWRENCE JONES (CO-HOST): One thing I found interesting about this thing is Obama gives his stamp of of approval and sends his people in. So, Charlie, is Obama going back to his Bill Ayers ways of thinking, and endorsing the socialist?
CHARLIE HURT (FOX NEWS): I think, as always, Barack Obama doesn't care one bit about the policy aspect of all of this. What he cares about is winning. And he's looking around the Democrat party, and he realizes that the Democrat party is filled with all of these very old people who have, absolutely no energy whatsoever, and the party is sort of listless. And he recognizes here's a guy who's got some political talent, who's very gifted at talking to people and selling a line of BS, if you ask me, but he's very gifted at it, which is kinda — reminds you somebody else.
JONES: Right.
HURT: And he recognizes that. And so he's interested in trying to do what he can to sort of give some oxygen to this. Obviously, he didn't outright endorse him or hasn't publicly, but I think that's only a matter of time because I don't think when it comes to the actual issues, the fact that guy's a stone cold communist is irrelevant to Barack Obama.
