The WSJ lowers the bar for GOP “stars”

From today's headline, as the WSJ continues to dutifully play its role as RNC cheerleader:

Two New Republican Stars Emerge

Who are the national stars?

In Nevada, Sharron Angle won the GOP nomination Tuesday for a U.S. Senate seat with 40% of the vote.

And:

In South Carolina, State Rep. Nikki Haley came in first in the four-person GOP primary for governor with 49% of the vote,

Apparently, thanks to the Journal, you can now vault to national star status in politics by simply winning 40 percent of your primary vote, if you're Angle, or if you don't even win your primary but are forced into a GOP run-off, like Haley.

UPDATED: For some strange reason in its article about Angle and her rising star status, the Journal forgets to mention that after the BP disaster she told a reporter that we need to “deregulate” big oil.
