On Fox & Friends, Anthony Scaramucci accuses the left of deploying tactics “out of Joseph Goebbels' playbook”

From the June 26 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends:

Video file

AINSLEY EARHARDT (CO-HOST): The harassment’s continuing, the latest is Stephen Miller. He's down in South Carolina with the president last night, he's one of the advisers to the president. They go there, to his apartment complex in DC and they're chanting outside, “say it loud, say it clear, immigrants are welcome here.” So they're not just -- it's not just in restaurants, and they're following them to the restaurants, now they're going to their houses.

STEVE DOOCY (CO-HOST): With posters. Wanted posters.

ANTHONY SCARAMUCCI (FORMER WHITE HOUSE COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR): I'm not a Democratic strategist but that strategy is not going to work. OK, so --

EARHARDT: Look at this poster Anthony. The poster says, “white nationalist, Trump lackey, and architect of both the Muslim man and family separation.” Stephen Miller, wanted.

SCARAMUCCI: So, we're losing on our strategy, we're losing at the ballot box, so now what we want to do is we want to dehumanize our adversaries.

DOOCY: You're talking about the Democrats.

SCARAMUCCI: The Democrats. So the real irony is they accuse the president of fascism or somebody like Steve Miller like (sic) fascism but the tactics they are deploying are right out of Joseph Goebbels' playbook, OK, you dehumanize your enemy, you disfigured your enemy, and then you create a mob support mass protests. OK, so -- but the great irony of all this stuff is that if you're sitting with the president, you're sitting there saying wow the president's strategy is by and large working because it's blown these people to pieces. Rather than arguing on policy, the merits of a debating point, they are going full bore on the ad hominem attacks and that turns people off, Steven (sic). It turns people off.
