JOE TRIPPI: There have been a lot of times when this could have gone the other way, but then the president wakes up in the morning and tweets some controversy about Russia or responds or again this morning, attacking [Attorney General Jeff] Sessions about [Acting FBI Director Andrew] McCabe and guess what we're all talking about again? So he, he is is his own worst enemy.

MELISSA FRANCIS (CO-HOST): What we're talking about is everybody is defending Jeff Sessions and I wonder if there is some method in that madness and that's what we're supposed to be doing, that's what he wanted everyone to do. I'm just wondering.
