Hannity attacks John McCain during his return speech following cancer diagnosis

Hannity: “I got a say this, I mean his own daughter works with both of my places in radio and TV. Who is he talking about because our incapacity is their livelihood?”

From the July 25 edition of Premiere Radio Networks' The Sean Hannity Show:

SEAN HANNITY (HOST): Let me dip in here if I can. A very passionate John McCain taking to the House floor. I got a say this, I mean his own daughter works with both of my places in radio and TV. Who is he talking about because our incapacity is their livelihood.

Look I am not going to take it personally. There's been a pretty contentious relationship with conservatives and John McCain over the years and I'm frankly glad he is back and feisty and fighting and I am glad he's there. And I wish him health wise all the best but let me just address that line for one second.

Senator McCain and all you other Republicans, I offered back in 2014, on this program, conservative solutions. I want problems solved. I have supported repealing and replacing. Don't blame me or anybody in talk radio or anybody on cable news -- and by the way his daughter is doing so well. She is a lovely, lovely woman. She really is. Really and talented and doing great at Fox and on the radio. And so we are very happy for her but these broad sweeping generalizations is ridiculous. I support repealing and replacing as you guys promised again and again and again. I support borders that you guys promised again and again.

I support economic growth to get people out of poverty, off of food stamps and back into the labor force and back buying homes. I support a safe and secure country. I support peace and prosperity. I've given more specificity about the solutions than frankly all of you Republicans put together. So don't blame us because you guys can't get your act together.
