Fox & Friends' Kilmeade declares that “collusion is in our rear view mirror”

Multiple federal investigations into Trump campaign ties with Russia are still open

From the June 14 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends:

STEVE DOOCY (CO-HOST): If you look at Elizabeth Warren's twitter feed, it says -- she was live-tweeting --

BRIAN KILMEADE (CO-HOST): Why would you do that?

DOOCY: It was in the packet today so I was reading it for entertainment purposes and it was hilarious because it wasn't even true. Because it talked about how Jeff Sessions had to recuse himself because he had lied about Russia. That's not true. He made it very clear yesterday there is a long standing Department of Justice rule where if you are involved in an investigation of a campaign you worked on, you've got to step aside.

ABBY HUNTSMAN (CO-HOST): Right.

KILMEADE: So this thing really -- the story should have been yesterday, if we are really doing this, collusion is in our rear view mirror. If you look at Joe Manchin. Dianne Feinstein, Adam Schiff, they all agree on one thing. They can't find any evidence of collusion. James Clapper. I'm talking about people that want to find collusion.

HUNTSMAN: Oh, I didn't see those headlines this morning. I didn't see those anywhere.

DOOCY: It's politics, so they're going to keep doing that.
