Fox contributor Nigel Farage is reportedly a “person of interest” in the FBI's Russia investigation

Shortly after he appeared on Fox, The Guardian reported that FBI investigators are looking at Farage for his ties to both the Trump campaign and Wikileaks

Fox contributor Nigel Farage, the former leader of the U.K. Independence Party, was reported to be a person of interest in the FBI’s probe of possible collusion between President Donald Trump’s campaign and Russia. Less than an hour after he appeared on Fox News to bash Hillary Clinton and comment on upcoming elections in the UK, The Guardian reported that Farage “has raised the interest of FBI investigators because of his relationships with individuals connected to both the Trump campaign and Julian Assange, the WikiLeaks founder whom Farage visited in March.” The Guardian also reported that the FBI took interest in “Farage’s links with Roger Stone,” who himself is under investigation for possible ties to Russia.

Previously, Fox ignored Farage's March 9 trip to the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where Assange has been living since 2012. Farage refused to explain why he visited the embassy and whether he spoke to Assange during the visit.

AINSLEY EARHARDT (CO-HOST): We want to hear your reaction. What did you think of Hillary [Clinton] last night talking about how the American people are racist, they're sexist, xenophobic and we want to know is this a global argument of the left?

BRIAN KILMEADE (CO-HOST): She also blamed The New York Times.

EARHARDT: And the [Democratic National Comitee].

NIGEL FARAGE: Yes, Hillary said the same things about me when I came across and supported Donald Trump in his campaign. I don't think it's worth getting angry about Hillary. I just think she looks sad and pathetic. There is nothing worse in life than a bad loser. Nothing worse than somebody who blames absolutely everybody else for their own failings. And let's face it, you know, she represented an out-of-touch, out-of-date establishment. She almost appeared as if it was her right to become the president and I'm very pleased she didn't.  I'll tell you what from now on let's just ignore her.

KILMEADE: Nigel, I think lot of the people in her own party must be shaking their heads saying “How can we turn the page if she won't?” Because like it or not she represent as lot of money and established power.

FARAGE: The establishment is feeling very sore. I mean 2016 we had Brexit. We had Trump. They still haven't got over it. They are still not reconciled to it. They've had it their own way for far too long. They haven't recognized that the world has changed.
