STEVE DOOCY: Let's talk a little bit about something that happened initially on Sunday on Meet The Pres, there you see Chuck Todd sitting down with Ben Carson. Ben Carson said he would not support a Muslim for president because he says that the U.S. Constitution and Sharia law don't line up. Since then there's been a firestorm. Some on the left, some on the right, have said you've got to clarify. He was on this show this morning talking to Brian. He has not backing down. He is doubling down and blames it on the PC police.

BRIAN KILMEADE: So he's again saying, he's not saying no Muslim should run for president. He said, “I wouldn't advocate a Muslim be president.” That's saying he wouldn't vote for him. Also can we add, it's a total non sequitur. There is no Muslim running for president. It's one of these things that started because Donald Trump allegedly should have cut off somebody who was asking that question, or everyone thought he should. Next thing you know every Republican candidate is being asked this. And this has become a huge issue.
