AINSLEY EARHADT (CO-HOST): And they need to open up the Strait of Hormuz. And even though it's not, they don't have control of the strait, they shouldn't have control of the strait, but as Trey was saying geographically, it is right next to their country.
BRIAN KILMEADE (CO-HOST): Yeah. It's international waters. So if you allow this to happen, what other port is some other belligerent country just going to decide, I will go take it? That's why when the president said we'll take a toll too, that's a nonstarter. We'll never do that.
I just think there's a plan in place to take the Strait off Hormuz back. I think that's where we're going to end up. We can't leave this conflict with the uranium in the ground and the strait in Iran's hands. So if there's a plan in place to take back the strait, do it.
Take it back at the cost necessary, that's been in place since the 80s, because we knew something like this was going to happen. And in turn, that's when NATO can show themselves as cooperative, because they'll play a role escorting the ships for the foreseeable future through that strait.
