TAMMY BRUCE (FOX NEWS CONTRIBUTOR): I've been a big supporter of Ambassador Bolton. And I've been told by many people that perhaps that was misapplied trust.

...

I don't know what is on his mind, but what we've got in an election year, in just a few months we are going to have an election for the presidency of the United States, for him to be playing this sort of role and to be thinking about his book deal, perhaps he is, I supposed you can't blame him, but he has a history and a background that one would think would put this below him. And I think that he should begin to consider the nature of the statement that it would make to people like me who have supported him for ages, for years, for him to do this regardless of what you think of the dynamic of whether you like Trump or not. We have a presidential election, it's an election year, clearly this is -- Americans aren't watching, there are some serious concerns with what the allegations are, and of course, I support the president because of what he's accomplished for this country, but this has pulled back the curtain, this entire episode, on what people are made of. John Bolton has an opportunity to prove that people like me were not mistaken in our support for him.
