Tim Pool on Trump's post attacking right-wing pundits: “I don't know that this post was necessary. What is to be gained by attacking these individuals?”

TIM POOL (HOST): It has been known to everyone that Donald Trump consorted with neocons. The idea that these individuals are flabbergasted and caught off guard. It's all fake. Are they goldfish? Do they have amnesia?
So, when I voted for Donald Trump in 2024, it was because he had done well on foreign policy, not perfect, but better than every president of my lifetime, knowing full well he had hired neocons and people we do not like who even betrayed him. And what was the argument? Maybe Trump will learn. But for the love of all that is holy, are these people trying to claim that Kamala Harris would have been better? It's like they don't have memories.
My friends, I pride myself somewhat higher of a first ordered thinker. I don't know how high on the chart that I really am. They say that the highest order of thinking is someone who conceptualizes the multiverse. That's an oversimplification, to be honest. But at least I try to think a few steps ahead.
Understanding that a vote for Donald Trump, you consider a bunch of different scenarios. Am I happy with everything that Donald Trump has done? Of course not. Never. We roasted him for hiring John Bolton in the first place. We roasted him for firing Tomahawk missiles into Syria. Yeah. And so when we vote for him again, and I say me and the people that — like my friends, we know all of the possibilities, including a war in the Middle East. And if Trump were to do that, what do I do? The same thing I've always done. Hey, this is not a good idea. You're freaking me out. Let's get some resolution to this. As I've mentioned the whole time, it's better to have one hand on the steering wheel.
So for what is the purpose of this? Kalshi prediction markets got Democrats sweeping Congress — the Senate and the House. OK. You know what, man? If Trump wants to end his legacy in this way, then so be it.
I don't know that this post was necessary. What is to be gained by attacking these individuals? I don't know.
