TIM POOL (HOST): Donald Trump has deleted the image that he had posted of himself as Jesus, saying he thought it was him as a doctor working for the Red Cross, which nobody believes. And he's taking a step further.

I would say that Donald Trump has decided — and I think he's decided to just burn every bridge and just cast out all of his most ardent supporters because he can't handle the criticism.

Now, I don't know what the bigger picture is here. Maybe it's just an old man with an ego. But Donald Trump — I think this one for me kind of crosses the line.

Trump shoots down idea that he deleted Jesus post because of Riley Gaines. I'm not a big fan of Riley, actually. And that just — you know, look, Alex Jones had called for Trump to be removed from office. Trump got pissed. Candace Owens, she's called him the mad king and said things like that, so Trump got pissed. Megyn Kelly and Tucker Carlson and, you know — they have been critical of Trump not as, let's just call it acute as the others, though they've been pretty aggressive.

And Trump finally just said, you know what? Enough with these people. And it's bad. It's a major support base Trump is losing, and it's bad news for these midterms and what that means for who's going to take power and what they're going to do next.

But I'm going to say this. Riley Gaines has been steadfast in her support of Donald Trump. And as a Christian woman, took issue with Donald Trump posting an image of himself as Jesus, for which Trump says, I'm not a big fan of Riley, actually. Just like that? Just like that? Well, Donald Trump right now is sinking among non-college white voters. He is seemingly casting out all of his supporters, not literally every single one. But, guys, when you go into the political space, what you are seeing is that the coalition is fragmented. And the MAGA base, the core Trump supporters, I don't think they can admit it.
