TIM POOL (HOST): Greg Bovino, former commander-at-large for Customs and Border Protection, has been relieved of duty according to a report from Nick's Sortor. Now we do know he has been ordered out of Minneapolis, and Tom Homan will be moving in with the left celebrating this as a major victory. They swarmed, they stole license plate information, got access to the state, had state-level organizers engaged in violence, smashed up windows, ransacked the hotel lobby, bashed a federal officer in the face, and they won. Donald Trump has announced he has called Frey, he has spoken to Frey and Walz on the phone, and will be working on a deal to stop what is currently going on. Now, say what you will. There's a couple different ways to look at it. It's hard to figure out exactly what Trump's plan is. We don't know. But it looks like, this looks like a surrender -- that Donald Trump could not handle the heat, so he's getting out of the kitchen.
Now Bovino may have been a bit too harsh, perhaps. I mean, a man died. It was CBP, not ICE that killed him. And it is tough to figure out, I'll give you that. I absolutely will. I don't know that I feel the appropriate course of action is for Donald Trump to capitulate in the face of insurgency, but it appears that is what's happening. That being said, there is still a good argument for what Trump is doing. As I said in a previous segment on this channel, Trump either needs to stand down or suit up. That means engaging the way that he is resulting in propaganda, martyrdom for the left to, effectively, proselytize off of, to, you know, utilize the martyrdom as it were, or you have to go in and shut this down. And I don't know that Trump has what it has what it takes, to be completely honest. So what it looks like right now is that Trump is going the route of this is too hot for us in a midterm year, so we're gonna back off. Seems to be how Trump plays it, seems to be how he played it in 2020, and it didn't work for him. And I don't think it'll work for him here. I think this just shows the far left they won.
