On Fox Business’ The Claman Countdown, correspondent Grady Trimble claimed that “the EU will pay a blanket tariff of 15% on most goods coming from those European countries coming into the U.S.” 

Just moments after Trimble concluded his report, guest host Cheryl Casone reported that Walmart said “costs from tariff-impacted areas are continuing to climb, and to offset those expenses, Walmart said that it would continue to raise prices on items on a case-by-case basis.”

This acknowledgement by a Fox host that American companies and consumers are being negatively impacted by Trump’s tariffs in the form of higher prices debunks the lie, often repeated by the Trump administration, that other countries are covering the cost of the tariffs.
