KARINA YAPOR [HOST]: But not everything, of course, is positive. What things do you think are playing against the administration that they could do better, and what, or maybe they haven't delivered when it comes to campaign promises, Orlando?

ORLANDO AVENDAÑO [VOZ NEWS SENIOR EDITOR]: I think that without a doubt, there is something that is weighing on the administration, and that is the images, which we already knew this was going to be the case. It was inevitable. They are the images that end up provoking all ICE immigration operations in different areas of the country, especially when there is resistance from local authorities, as in the case of cities or states governed by Democrats, which, by not cooperating with ICE, hinder the agency's operations, and this obviously generates more collateral damage and more moments that are undesirable. But this is generating a cost.

There is no doubt in terms of the Hispanic population that there is some annoyance or discomfort with how the administration is pursuing its mass deportation policy. According to the administration, data provided by the Secretary of Homeland Security, the majority, the vast majority, 70%, of the people who are subject to deportation or ICE detention are criminals. So I think no one doubts that the administration is doing the right thing in deporting these people, but at the same time, you have an enormous amount of testimony, of videos that I don't think contribute to the administration.
