Charles Krauthammer, who died in 2018, was a psychiatrist, longtime columnist for The Washington Post, and contributor to Fox News, where he was a regular panelist on Special Report. 

After Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich was murdered in an apparent botched robbery during the 2016 presidential election, Fox News and others in the right-wing media pushed a conspiracy theory that his death was linked to hacked DNC emails that were released by WikiLeaks. In particular, Fox's Sean Hannity doggedly pushed the conspiracy theory even after Rich's family asked him to stop until advertisers began departing his program. Rich's family sued Fox News for continuing to promote the conspiracy theory even after it had retracted a false story about it.

David Clarke was a sheriff for 15 years and was a frequent commentator on Fox News, where he often made extreme statements. Clarke resigned as sheriff in 2017 soon after a report that he plagiarized parts of his thesis for his master’s degree. Following a failed appointment to President Donald Trump’s Department of Homeland Security, he briefly joined the pro-Trump PAC America First Action as an adviser and spokesperson. 

Trey Gowdy, currently a Fox News contributor, is a former congressman from South Carolina who gained notoriety for leading the House Select Committee investigation into the 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi. His committee spent over two and half years investing the attack.

Karl Rove was a senior adviser and deputy chief of staff to President George W. Bush and the architect of his successful presidential campaigns. He co-founded the Republican super PAC American Crossroads in 2010 and has since helped launch other Republican political organizations. He is a Fox News contributor and a Wall Street Journal columnist, and he had repeated ethical problems at the two outlets due to his electioneering work during the 2012 election.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders is a longtime Republican Party operative who advised Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign. Sanders became a face of the Trump White House and a major distributor of the administration's misinformation through her role as press secretary. In August 2019, she joined Fox News as a contributor.

During President Barack Obama's campaign and presidency, right-wingers and conspiracy theorists claimed that Obama had not been born in the United States and had instead been born in Kenya, and that the birth certificates he released were fake. Prominent pushers of this conspiracy theory included Donald Trump and Fox News.
