During the Trump administration, many hosts and commentators are openly pro-Trump and some serve as unofficial presidential advisers. Many former Fox figures have been hired into high profile roles in the Trump administration.

Pat Robertson was a bigot who hosted The 700 Club for the pro-Trump Christian Broadcasting Network.

Steve Doocy has been co-hosting Fox & Friends since 1998. He was implicated for allegedly sexist treatment of his former co-host Gretchen Carlson in her sexual harassment lawsuit against Fox News in 2016.

Curt Schilling is a former Red Sox pitcher who worked for ESPN as an analyst for 6 years until he was fired in 2016 for a transphobic tweet. He joined Breitbart News in October 2016 and hosted The Curt Schilling Podcast. He is scheduled to host The Curt Schilling Baseball Show for OutKick, a Fox Corporation outlet, beginning in February 2023.

Following Fox News chairman and CEO Roger Ailes’ firing in 2016 over his history of sexual misconduct, Murdoch stepped in as temporary CEO and chairman of Fox. He is now the executive co-chairman of Fox’s new parent company, Fox Corporation, and chairman of the new News Corp.
