Dave Rubin says Ron DeSantis “is the best guy we got”

DAVE RUBIN (HOST): I think he is the best guy we got - notwithstanding anything I just said, the good things that I said about Trump. And, you know, yesterday we played, you know, we did the State of the Union recap and we played Trump's State of the Unions at the end, two clips. And it's like, man, that was a hell of a lot better than what we got now. But DeSantis, to me, is the best guy that we got. And again, do you send the best guy out to the battlefield knowing he doesn't -- he maybe doesn't come back or he's irreparably harmed or that battle cannot be won, meaning the federal battle, like that thing? I don't know. That's a choice that they're going to have to make.
But let's just say it all happened. Let's say he became president. Would I be -- I would try to be involved in some way. I mean, I think the way I'm involved now is probably the best possible way. Like, I'm not in cahoots with the -- with the campaign in any way. I'm not paid by the campaign in any way. Like, I'm just waking up. They're doing the right thing and I get to talk about it. That's pretty beautiful. So, everyone kind of finds their lane within these things.
