VIDEO: All The Ways Trump Is Connected To Project 2025

Project 2025 is an extreme right-wing initiative organized by The Heritage Foundation that provides the next Republican presidential administration with conservative policy recommendations.

The proposals suggested in its nearly 900-page policy book — Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise — present a major threat to Americans on issues ranging from LGBTQ and civil rights to the integrity of the federal government itself.

In this video, Media Matters breaks down major goals of Project 2025: limiting access to reproductive health care, codifying discrimination against trans people, potentially making hundreds of thousands of people vulnerable to deportation, turning the Department of Justice into Trump’s enforcement arm, and replacing government workers with conservative loyalists en masse.

We break down the contents of Project 2025 and look at some of the comments made by its collaborators to assess the question: Just how likely is it that these measures will be implemented if Trump re-enters the White House?
