DANA LOESCH (NRATV HOST): There are people out there saying that [Rep. Ron] DeSantis [R-FL] needs to step down right now, he needs to do it today. What do you make of this?  

DAN BONGINO (NRATV HOST): That’s a joke. It’s a bad joke. Nobody Dana, in Florida -- we live in the real world, by the way, outside of the political intelligentsia who have fabricated this, air quotes, scandal out of nowhere -- is talking about this. No one. I mean I barely get out of my house but when I do I talk to some people in the gym and elsewhere. This is an entirely fabricated, far-left scandal. It’s kind of disgusting too, because Ron DeSantis is an American patriot who, regardless of what you think about his politics, has rather heroically served this country. And anybody who actually knows Ron DeSantis, and let me put out a disclosure here, I have appeared at events with Ron. I know Ron well, he’s not my -- he’s not like an old childhood friend of mine, but I know Ron from the Florida political scene. No one who knows Ron DeSantis, and I mean no one, would ever level such a disgusting charge using the R-word at him. But they’re desperate.
