CHUCK HOLTON (NRATV COMMENTATOR): We’ve been talking a lot about legal age limits over the last few days, and here’s a story that just about made me spit coffee all over my keyboard. Liberals continue to prove our points in the debate over the real solutions to fix the problem of school violence. Moms Demand Action president Shannon Watts tweeted this out yesterday, it says, “You can buy this at Sportsman's Warehouse if you’re 18. Tell them no gun until 21.” Now, first of all, Shannon Watts does not want you to be able to buy a gun at 21. She doesn’t want you to be able to buy a gun at all. But the scary looking gun she referenced in her tweet, you might have already noticed what’s wrong with that picture. It’s a Ruger Precision .22 caliber bolt action rifle. Listen, this is exactly what we’ve been talking about. First of all, Shannon Watts is clueless. She probably thinks bolt action has something to do with Fifty Shades of Grey. The gaggle of pundits on the left spouting off about common sense gun control regulations wouldn’t know common sense if it dressed up like a [Teenage] Mutant Ninja Turtle and did cartwheels around their living room. By their shocking arrogance about even the most elemental details of the gun debate, they turn the whole spectacle into a three ring circus of stupid.

Look, these school attacks are tragic and even one life lost in a gun-free zone is too many. But a .22 caliber bolt action rifle would be only slightly more dangerous than a Super Soaker with a bayonet on it as a choice for a terrorist or deranged criminal to use in a mass killing. It's designed for target practice and little else. 

So here's my message to Ms. Watts, which I would have tweeted to her, but alas anyone who disagrees with her gets blocked: Shannon, maybe you should just be quiet for a little bit. The adults are trying to work here.
