Newsmax guest defends Jon Gruden: “Over in Europe, the word faggot is actually for a cigarette”

DAVID HARRIS, JR (GUEST): Well, it's pretty hilarious to me that we're still seeing in this era of woke culture people trying to dig through peoples' past lives, emails. Who is holding something over Gruden that said, if you don't do this or that or whatever, or who just had it out for him and said I'm going to release these. You know, I read portions of the email for him to refer to a Black man and say he had lips the size of Michelin tires. You know what? What happened to some good old-fashioned football humor and banter? I don't think that means he's a racist. I think people want to – you know, he didn't say he was Black. He didn't throw color out there.
But again, it's like, you know, who can't get canceled when somebody can be – can be dissected and have their life and their emails gone through for decades to find one thing or slew of things – using a derogatory term for homosexual. You know what? Over in Europe, the word faggot is actually for a cigarette. So, who knows if that's what he was talking about.
But to use this and just slander Joe – Jon Gruden and make him stand down and resign from the head coaching job of the Raiders -- for me, I stopped watching football when they all started taking a knee; and then when they started doing the whole BLM stuff, I didn't want to watch them anymore.
So, but this is what happens when your culture is driven by wokist – woke liberal leftists that are willing to push a narrative that just is going to paint anybody and everybody a racist for any little thing that they can do. So it's unfortunate. You know what? I don't – it doesn't surprise me.
ERIC BOLLING (HOST): Yup. Dave Rubin, so I noticed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers also removed Jon Gruden from their ring of honor for I guess the same reasons that the Las Vegas Raiders asked him to resign. Your thoughts.
