SHARLA MCBRIDE (ANCHOR): Welcome back. So we are back on Wake Up America with some breaking news, as last month's jobs report was just released moments ago, with the economy adding 92,000 jobs in February.

MARC LOTTER (ANCHOR): Actually, we lost 92,000 jobs.

MCBRIDE: OK, so that was wrong in the script. Sorry about that.

LOTTER: Sorry, we lost 92,000 jobs. Those numbers, though, also include a 4.4% unemployment rate during a very volatile time for the US economy. That's both numbers are slightly worse than analysts expected. Now of course the US job market also — or stock market taking a big plunge. So how long can we expect the war's harsh economic effects to last? Let's ask our next guest, Executive Director of Unleash Prosperity, Tim Doescher, and financial markets analyst and author of Planet Ponzi, Mitch Feierstein. So, Tim, start with you. Your reaction to these jobs numbers — 92,000 jobs lost, 4.4% unemployment rate, again, both slightly worse than the analysts expected.

TIM DOESCHER (GUEST):Yeah. Look, you're going to see a lot of negative headlines on this for sure because you also have revisions that are downward from the past month's. And so I think the the president is going to have to do some answering for this. Now there have been some strikes and there have been a lot of -- and this is another one, there were a lot of reductions in federal government employment. As we continue that trend, you know, you're going to see a lot of crowing. But just remember, a lot of those job gains under the Biden administration were government jobs. And as we continue to go with decreasing government jobs, that's going to continue to be a part of this. But you want to also understand, too, that these revisions continue to come up. They continue to come down. And so, Marc, this is going to be something that we're going to have to dig into a little bit as these numbers are released here, it's going to be some explaining to do for sure.
