MARK LEVIN (HOST): Here's a breaking story in The Wall Street Journal: The Attorney General "tells prosecutors to consider charging violent protesters with sedition." And he's right about that. Attorney General William Barr told the nation's federal prosecutors to be aggressive when charging violent demonstrators with crimes, including potentially prosecuting protesters for plotting to overthrow the U.S. government. People with the -- familiar with the conversation said, "But they aren't plotting to overthrow the U.S. government." They said so, haven't they Mr. Producer? They're plotting to overthrow the government, that's what they tell us, Antifa, Black Lives Matter, and the rest. In a conference call with the U.S. attorneys across the country last week, Mr. Barr warned that sometimes violent demonstrations across the U.S. could worsen as the November presidential election approaches. He encouraged the prosecutors to seek a number of federal charges, including under a rarely used sedition law, even when state charges could apply, the people said. Well, of course, the problem with state charges is state prosecutors need to bring them and they're not.
