Extreme internet misogynists love Donald Trump

Manosphere influencers — some of whom have embraced Nazism and antisemitism over the past year — have thrown their support behind Trump

Personalities from the so-called “manosphere,” including Andrew Tate, Sneako, Myron Gaines, Jon Zherka, and Hannah Pearl Davis, have expressed their support for disgraced former President Donald Trump.

The manosphere is an online community of right-wing websites, bloggers, and influencers who repackage conservative, antifeminist, and regressive gender politics for the internet age, which they use to recruit and target young men.

Over the past year, several of these misogynistic content creators have embraced a range of extreme ideologies, including Nazism and antisemitism. (In one instance, Zherka instructed a group of women to do a Nazi Sieg Heil during a livestream and say “heil Hitler.”) Some have also encouraged their audiences — which includes pre-teens — to abuse women.

Several of these manosphere figures have featured white supremacist and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes on their shows. In 2022, Fuentes dined with Trump and pro-Hitler rapper Ye (formerly Kanye West) at Mar-a-Lago.

  • Andrew Tate

  • Professional kickboxer, media personality, and alleged human trafficker Andrew Tate is one of the most well-known influencers in the manosphere. He has made several violent and abusive proclamations about women and, in recent podcast appearances, has thrown his support behind Trump’s presidential candidacy, arguing that the former president is the “last hope of Western civilization.”

    • During an interview, Tate said, “Personally, my view of Trump is that I’m in massively favor of him.” “Do I believe he can save the West? No, he can slow it down. However, it would be a culture win for him to win. It would inspire the culture and it would inspire patriotism and it would inspire masculinity,” Tate said, adding, “I’m praying for Trump. Do I think they’re going to let him win? Well, they’re clearly trying to stop it.” [YouTube, Matt Kim Podcast, 2/27/24]
    • Tate proclaimed, “Donald Trump is the last hope of Western civilization. He can’t stop the decay but he can slow it down.” “If he doesn’t win, it’s over,” Tate added. [YouTube, Disruptors Podcast, 2/19/24]
    • Tate: “I am praying for the West because if he [Trump] doesn’t win, it’s the end of America as we know it.” “The core tenets that Western leaders are lacking are a degree of nationalism, a degree of care for their own people,” Tate added. “Wouldn’t it be nice to see a president who cares about Americans over everyone else? Which is what Trump was.” [YouTube, The Passionate Few Podcast, 4/6/24]
  • Sneako

  • Right-wing streamer Sneako, whose real name is Nico Kenn De Balinthazy, is a manosphere influencer and Ye associate. The Latch has described him as a “cheap imitation” of Tate.

Sneako, who has defended Adolf Hitler and mocked Jewish people online, once spoke at a rally organized by Fuentes, in which he said, “Nicholas J. Fuentes is going to be the future president of the United States.”

He also appears to be a big fan of Trump.

    • In February, Sneako livestreamed from a Trump campaign event in Nevada. During the stream, Sneako told his audience, “If you clip up this stream — send it around, man — we could be able to influence an election.” He added, “We’re waking people up doing this.” [Rumble, 2/8/24; Media Matters, 2/12/24]
    • On X (formerly Twitter), Sneako posted a photo of himself standing beside Trump with the caption, “I speak for everyone when I say we stand with Donald Trump.” [Twitter/X, 8/26/23]
    • Sneako has also posted pro-Trump slogans including “MAGA” and “Trump 2024.” [Twitter/X, 3/2/24, 8/12/23]
  • Fresh & Fit podcast’s Myron Gaines

  • Myron Gaines (real name Amrou Fudl) co-hosts the misogynistic podcast Fresh & Fit, a Rumble show that bills itself as “the #1 men’s self improvement podcast in the WORLD!” On Fresh & Fit, Gaines, who authored a book called Why Women Deserve Less, and his co-host Walter Weekes deliver misogynistic dating and lifestyle advice to teens and men.

Over the past year, Gaines has become increasingly antisemitic, mocking Jewish people, arguing that Israel was behind 9/11, and defending Adolf Hitler. “We’re the biggest platform that’s talking about the JQ. No one else will do it,” he said. (The “JQ” refers to the “Jewish Question,” an antisemitic framework meant to question the human rights of Jewish people. It provided the pretext for the Holocaust.)

Gaines has repeatedly expressed support for Trump both on his show and on X.

    • Gaines: “Everybody’s got to get out there and fucking vote for Trump, especially if you live in Florida. Bro, he is the last stand we got, man.” [YouTube Shorts, Fresh & Fit, 12/2/23]
    • Gaines expressed support for Trump. Gaines wrote in various subposts, “Trump 2024 or we are doomed,” “Trump 2024. Fuck what you thought,” “Trump 2024 is the ONLY or else we are doomed,” and “It’s Trump 2024 or this country is going down the toilet.” [Twitter/X, 12/5/23, 11/11/23, 1/19/24, 11/16/23]

  • Jon Zherka

  • Manosphere influencer Jon Zherka, a self-proclaimed woman hater who has defended Hitler and once did a Nazi Sieg Heil salute while discussing Israel, has touted Trump multiple times online.

    • Zherka wrote, “Headed to a Trump rally to film.” He also posted the QAnon slogan “WWG1WGA.” [Twitter/X, 7/8/23; Media Matters, 9/26/22
    • Zherka posted a video of himself holding a bill with Trump’s face on it and said, “Donald Trump was right about everything nigga.” [Twitter/X, 8/9/23]
    • Zherka wrote, “The thing I am most proud of is that I lived in the time of Trump.” [Twitter/X, 3/23/23]
    • In another post he wrote: “TRUMP > DESANTIS.” [Twitter/X, 11/15/22]
  • Hannah Pearl Davis

  • Antifeminist podcaster Hannah Pearl Davis, who wrote and performed a song titled “Why can’t we talk about the Jews?” and is also a Fuentes ally, has expressed support for Trump on X and YouTube.

    • Davis wrote, “Women shouldn’t vote but since we can vote TRUMP 2024.” [Twitter/X, 10/17/23]
    • Davis also wrote “Trump is a cool guy” and “Trump should be king.” [Twitter/X, 9/6/23, 10/17/23]
    • Davis described herself as a “big, big Trump fan.” [YouTube, The Sitdown, 3/14/24]
