DR. JAY BHATTACHARYA (PROFESSOR): This is an issue of conscience for many young people. I think this kind of forced vaccination is actually very, very harmful to public health. Now there may be vaccines where it makes some sense, for — but — but leave that aside.
In the context of COVID, this is going to create some enormous vaccine hesitancy.
Vaccine hesitancy went from a relatively fringe phenomenon to something that nearly half the — you know, 30, 40% of the population and I think it's much larger who are resisting this push to a mandate. It is not right to do this.
