JESSE KELLY (HOST): Dr. Jesse, do you think David DePape is being held without bail in order to keep him away from a TV camera?

Yeah. It is weird how Paul Pelosi got hammered – got hit with a hammer. Um. The guy apparently was known to Paul. Remember? Remember, we know now at this point in time, Paul went to the door and answered the door when the cops showed up and didn't run out and say, save me. He turned around and walked right back in towards the guy who supposedly broke in and held him hostage. And then we were scolded by the media for days, remember? Scolded about this right-wing attacks inspired by these dangerous right-wingers. Right? It was Trump's fault. All these things.

But what's so funny is. We haven't heard a word from Dave DePape. Huh. No statements. Nothing's come out. No, no journalist – lawyer has been able to get a hold of him and put out a public statement. It's so weird. I would like to know how many Trump hats did he own? I'm sure he was dressed in Trump gear when he did it.

Oh, maybe he wasn't dressed at all, though. How about that?

Kelly's rhetoric echoes other Republican conspiracy theories about the attack.
