CARLOS ACOSTA (HOST): I want to start with the thing about the Pope. I think the Pope is, of course, right. Of course he’s right, I think the Pope has made a fair criticism. You and I have said on this show that entering in an illegal manner is illegal. There are certainly people from Tren de Aragua, MS-13, Chinese, Iranians, who entered due to the open-door policy of President Joe Biden, but they are also deporting people who do not belong to Tren de Aragua or MS-13, and are not Chinese or Iranian. They are also deporting them. I believe the migration issue is being handled, as we have said on other occasions, by some people in this administration in such a way that is even racist.

AGUSTÍN ACOSTA: (HOST): There is a case, one of many cases. This man was born in a concentration camp where the Jews were interned in Europe during WWII. They interred his mother there, she was very pregnant and gave birth to this child in the concentration camp. The child was saved by a hair, because normally they even burned children in the gas chamber, but not this one, he was saved. When the Americans liberated the concentration camp, because they won the war against the Germans, he came here to the US when he was very small, and he has lived his whole life here. He’s around 80 years old, 80-odd years, but for some technical reason, since he was born in the concentration camp, they never gave him a birth certificate. Not having a birth certificate has been an impediment to normalizing his American citizenship. This guy has a complicated technical migration situation, because nobody is resolving it.
