Steve Bannon suggests Project 2025 contributor and Heritage Foundation fellow as the new Bureau of Labor Statistics head

The Heritage Foundation's EJ Antoni is listed as a contributor in Mandate for Leadership, the policy book for Project 2025. Antoni had joined Steve Bannon on August 1 in calling for President Trump to get rid of the Bureau of Labor Statistics commissioner following a weak July jobs report. Shortly after that segment aired, Trump announced he had fired BLS Commissioner Dr. Erika McEntarfer.
