GREG KELLY (HOST): Hey, did you see that? Ilhan Omar, the Democratic congresswoman from Minnesota — a lot of controversy. Some guy sprayed with silly string or something like that. Well, that's not good. I don't want anybody to be hurt or assaulted. But what was that all about? Let's go to our reporter. He's in Minneapolis right now, or on the outskirts. Joe Moeller, welcome back. Glad you got a hat on this time, Joe. What have you got?
JOE MOELLER (REPORTER): Yeah. Still chilly out here. Got the hat and the gloves and the scarf, so we're good to go. But, yeah, a little bit of a bizarre incident tonight with Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. She's speaking at a town hall on immigration and talking about the DHS secretary there when a man walks up and sprays her. Take a look.
...
MOELLER: It was a bizarre incident that took place there at that town hall in north Minneapolis. But it happened as congresswoman was calling for ICE to be abolished. She quickly cursed the man out before continuing with that town hall there tonight.
...
MOELLER: And I just got a notice from Ilhan Omar, who just posted actually a short time ago, saying that she's a survivor and not going to let this agitator interrupt her and she will continue doing her work. So it's unknown what that substance is, but apparently she is OK tonight. Greg.
KELLY: Well, we're glad about that.
Let's not overdo it there. Ilhan Omar, she's a survivor. It looked to me like silly string, which we used to play with back in the day.
Well, Joe Moeller, we appreciate it. Thank you very much.
