GREG GUTFELD (CO-HOST): I like red flag laws but the challenge about due process is -- from the phone call, the phone call about Jesse being unstable, to the court hearing, to the hearing, what's being done in between that and what constitutes evidence? This is really an obvious point, but the fact is that takes time and that's another kind of process that we will have to wait and what happens. But I do think it's worth exploring,

Can this law be abused? Any law can be abused, right? But the fact is there's some laws that are abused more than others. For example, hate crime laws. We've seen an explosion in the last, I don't know, five, seven years of hate crime hoaxes. So people could -- maybe -- let's say Jesse is not a threat to anybody but I decide I'm going to call and say that he's been talking about suicide. So, that's the thing you have to think about. That that's what happened with hate crime hoaxes, the Jussie Smolletts of the world or the people seeking attention will do stuff like that. Look at Amber Heard. I mean, she basically, you know, she took, you know, an entire movement and made it work for herself. So, that is a -- that's -- there's a red flag on the red flags but they have to be explored.
