On YouTube, Libs of TikTok creator Chaya Raichik says “The people in the videos I post are suffering from mental illness”

ELIJAH SCHAFFER (HOST): I mean, do you hate gay people like it says? Do you see these people and it's like your only idea is to make fun of them? Or like what was your heart behind saying I'm going to start reposting these videos and then sharing them to the masses.

CHAYA RAICHIK (GUEST): Yeah, so I like to say that all of the videos I post have a message. So I don't just post videos to make fun of people and I strongly believe that a lot of these people are suffering from mental illness or other issues, emotional issues, and they really do need help and I hope they get the help. Like I really feel sorry for a lot of the people that I feature on my account and the message is like, number one we have a serious mental health crisis in our country and it's not being addressed like it should be, and number two we have this massive activist group who target children to recruit them and that is a massive problem. And these activists are in every industry, they're in education obviously, they're in the medical industry, they're literally everywhere and I'm going to call them out when I see it because we need to protect the innocence of children. 

YouTube's hate speech policy prohibits content promoting “violence or hatred” against “individuals or groups” based on “Gender Identity and Expression”, “Sex/Gender” and “Sexual Orientation”, among other attributes. The policy provides multiple examples of prohibited statements, including saying that an individual or group with a protected attribute "is just a form of mental illness that needs to be cured.”
