GILLIAN TURNER (CO-HOST): That was a great question you asked her at the end. Well done.
JOHN ROBERTS (CO-HOST): Which one? Because I asked so many great questions.
TURNER: It's hard to keep track, I know, but the one about the content, you know, what you want it to look like, how do you want to do this important storytelling? I would ask her as well, like, well, do you really think the government is the best interlocutor here? Do you really want government officials getting involved in cultural institutions and determining the content?
ROBERTS: Well, I do know that the secretary of the Smithsonian, Lonnie Bunch, he's really dedicated to his job. And clearly, he has a perspective on how the museums should be presented, and we'll see if he can work together with the administration and everybody comes out of this with a win.
TURNER: Or you could just leave it to the curators, whose job it is to come up with this stuff. However you want to do it.
ROBERTS: I think I will by and large stay out of the process.
