RACHEL CAMPOS-DUFFY (GUEST): Anybody who goes to another country or even says that on our soil, that they are putting another country, Guatemala first, that is in my book disqualifying to serve in Congress. And by the way, Jesse, Article Two says the president must be born here in America, natural-born here in America and I'm thinking that maybe it's time we extend that to all federal positions of power whether it's, you know, federal judges or members of Congress. We must ensure that the people who are passing laws that shape our lives, that tell us what to do, that they are loyal to only this country.

Something happens when you go through the citizenship process. My mother did that. She became a citizen, she went through the process. This woman's mother and father did not do that. But again, if you ask my mom, and she is a foreign-born American citizen, if you ask her should you be able to run for congress, she would say no. And it's not because my mother would not be a good member of congress, she is the most patriotic woman I know, but if you allow my mother, Maria Pilar, to run for office then you also run the risk of people like this congresswoman from Chicago or from Illinois and you also get people like Ilhan Omar who said to Somali constituents, she said, "Sleep in comfort knowing that I am here to protect the interests of Somalia from inside the U.S. System." That's the danger we face and that is why I'm really happy that Donald Trump is putting America first and making sure that we end birthright citizenship.
