LAURA INGRAHAM (HOST): Victor, when you see again the -- it looks like a slow movement back toward cherishing the nation-state. Individual countries like their individual cultures -- with changes along the way, obviously, culture changes. But there's something that's happening. You feel it in Europe as well, with the mass influx of mostly Islamic refugees changing the entire makeup of countries like Sweden, and Germany, France, and so forth. That hasn't worked. It's clearly a disaster, a multicultural disaster. And how much of that is playing into this economic populist resurgence?
VICTOR DAVIS HANSON (GUEST): Quite a lot. I think October 7th was kind of the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. When people in Europe and the United States, especially, saw all of these immigrants that had come to this generous country and they repaid our magnanimity with disdain. I mean, it's not sustainable for an immigrant to get on a pole and tear down a flag on Veterans Day of the host.
