Fox & Friends floats cutting off American foreign aid to some countries to fund Trump's border wall

Brian Kilmeade: “It would be interesting if the president decided ... to shave off let's say $2 billion and just say, 'I'm going to start the border wall. I'm going to punish the world'”

STEVE DOOCY (CO-HOST): The U.S. commitment to the United Nations in 2017 was north of $10 billion. What could you do with that kind of money? Well, you could pay for half of the border wall because it looks like that's estimated a little north of $20 billion.

AINSLEY EARHARDT (CO-HOST): All right, so here are -- listen to this breakdown. There are 128 countries that voted against it, right? Of those 121, the majority of them, received U.S. foreign aid last year. Your tax dollars. The top recipients, Iraq, got $4.3 billion from the U.S, Afghanistan, $4.2 billion, Egypt, $1.3 billion, Jordan, $1.2 billion, Pakistan, $988 million. So they're taking billions of your tax dollars, but they're not standing with our country.

BRIAN KILMEADE (CO-HOST): It would be interesting if the president decided -- I don't know if he can do this -- to shave off let's say $2 billion and just say, “I'm going to start the border wall. I'm going to punish the world.”

[...]

DOOCY: Let us know what you think. What do you think about that? Should we cut them off? Should we use the money to build the border wall if that's possible?
