AINSLEY EARHARDT (CO-HOST): You know what I noticed? Robert Wolf was on the curvy couch sitting right where you were, and he's very good friends with Joe Biden, Obama. And he said, "I wish they had talked about the economy." They're scared to talk about the economy. The only economy thing that we heard was if you're very rich, you're going to pay for it all.
DONALD TRUMP JR.: Of course, but you know, you see that. You've seen that with blue check mark Twitter, I've seen that. Like, they go online, "We've done a great job of convincing the average American that they haven't benefited from tax cuts." Again, they won't talk about the jobs created because of it. They won't talk about the people pulled off of food stamps and not dependent on government. They talk about these sound bites because there's no one in media who will actually hold them in check. There's no accountability. That's why you can have these radical ideas.
And if you contest them, you're a racist. I think you maybe saw the [Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez] response to that -- there was a Cambodian lady that put out this incredible ad, who went through the Cambodian genocide -- and two million people killed and the disaster that is socialism and communism that they're all espousing. And this Cambodian woman -- yep, she's racist. It's not the answer for everything. It's become the left-wing sort of political easy button. We can just say, hey, I don't like the way the numbers work, racist. Math, you've seen that one. Racist. It's really sad because it's creating a division and it's also really not addressing a problem. And racism is a real problem. It's just not the answer to every problem. And that's what it's become. And I think people have seen it. I think the American people get it and it's getting old. And that's a shame because, again, you do a disservice to those who are actually afflicted by it.

TRUMP JR.: Listen, my only focus is 2020 for him. You know, I'm doing a lot of that stuff as an outsider on the campaign because I believe in it. I'm the father of five young kids. And when I see some of the notions of this, when I see the push for socialism -- you know, my mother escaped a communist country, right? She left that system. My grandmother is 93 years old, still living. She sees -- she watches CNN because that's all they got in Europe, and she's in tears, calling me, "Don, you don't understand how bad it is. You don't under --" and I'm like, I do get it. That's why I'm fighting against it so vehemently.
So, it's interesting, when I talk about that, I talk with my mother, I talk with her. I go, it's funny, how come you don't have anyone from the former Soviet bloc espousing the great virtues of socialism and communism? How come there's not one person in America from Venezuela saying, "no no no, we should give this a shot. It's really been a winner."
EARHARDT: What is that about? Are we so spoiled that we don't even know what this action means?
TRUMP JR.: We are, and we're being spoon-fed this and sort of being indoctrinated. You saw that last night with all the Democrats talking about our values, our values. No, no, no, not our values, their values. It's why they don't want school choice, OK, it's why they don't want charter schools. They want to get young Americans indoctrinated to their programs and their socialist learnings in school through public education and everything. They've been doing it for decades.
