Doocy adopts see no evil, hear no evil policy on tea party racism

On the July 16 edition of Fox & Friends, host Steve Doocy sat idly by as Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN) alleged she has “not” ever seen “anything that constituted racism, or was even close to it” at any tea party rally “from coast to coast”:

DOOCY: You have been to many tea parties.

BACHMANN: I have. From coast to coast.

DOOCY: From coast to coast. Have you ever seen anything that constituted racism or was even close to it?

BACHMANN: I have not. The assertions that were made by some of my colleagues during the health care debate, there's no record of it. Nothing on audio tape, nothing. So people need to back them up.

Instead of pushing back on her claims, Doocy moved on to discuss Bachmann's plans for a Tea Party Caucus in Congress. Thus, he must obviously believe it's plausible that Bachmann just missed this gem from the November 5, 2009 tea party rally that she hosted herself:

And Doocy must certainly believe that during Bachmann's “many tea part[y]” appearances “from coast to coast,” she missed all of these, as well:

And since Doocy didn't push back on Bachmann's claims that “there's no record” of her “colleagues'” “assertions” of racism, he must not have seen this video of the Congressman Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) being spat upon by a tea party protestor on March 28, either.

Later in the show, in a segment with Al Sharpton, Doocy confirmed my suspicions, claiming that he “personally” hasn't “seen any of the evidence” of racism within the tea party. But with all of the evidence readily available on the internet, it's clear that Doocy & Fox have adopted a policy of “see no evil, hear no evil” when it comes to reports that don't fit their tea party narrative.
