ED HENRY (GUEST HOST): Notice the DC mayor did not take the race bait there. Maybe it's the reality of the fact that she realizes she has no legal way to stop the president, has to try to work with him.
Or maybe there's a more troubling reason why she's so muted. She might be worried about you learning that, you guessed it, DEI was the big focus of her city's police department, not fighting crime. Charlie Kirk saying the current chief of DC police, Pam Smith, the former chief equity officer whose primary job was overseeing diversity. Why would you ever put the diversity person in charge of a real police force? This insanity must end — indeed.
And look what the city of Washington ended up with — a police chief who seems utterly clueless as she addressed reporters today with the mayor after they both met with Attorney General Pam Bondi, who's now in charge.
...
HENRY: What does that mean? Exactly what it sounds like. What's the chain of command, was the question. She just met with Bondi, so she should know the answer. The attorney general is in charge. But if you can't figure that out, maybe that's a sign you can't handle crime either.
One of many reasons why DC, and so many other blue cities are a complete and utter disaster. Which is why, mark my words, the president is only using DC as the opening salvo.
I bet he's coming for LA and Detroit, San Fran, New York, especially with a socialist likely to be that city's next mayor, something we'll discuss in a moment with the former New York City mayor, Rudy Giuliani. The point is, the president is not stopping with DC.
